ABOUT

Mo Duggan has been a dedicated force in the film + television industry for over a decade.

After earning an Advanced Diploma of Screen + Media from Sydney Film School in 2011, she immediately dove into a full-time role as a Production Assistant at Filmgraphics Entertainment. Over the next few years, she advanced to Coordinating roles, eventually moving in-house to Eight (formerly 8Com) for her final year in Sydney.

‘Home’ came calling and Mo returned to her hometown of Melbourne, where she joined Sweetshop Australia as their in-house Production Manager, broadening her network and knowledge to the Victorian industry.

Since 2020, Mo has worked as a Freelance Production Manager and gun for hire, collaborating with some of the most renowned production companies in Australia, including MOFA, Finch, Scoundrel, GoodOil, Revolver, Exit, Division and more.

Having always been a writer at heart, Mo continued to scribble ceaselessly in her spare time. 2019 bought around the beginnings of her writing success with her short story ‘A Collection Of Thumbs’ being selected for publication in Verandah Literary + Arts Journal Volume 34. The piece was also awarded the Verandah Genre award for 2019. She has since had pieces awarded in 2021 Society of Women Writers National Writing Competition and published in the 2024 Anthology from Stringybark Stories, as well as listed among the winners and highly commended pieces of the Stringybark Short Story Awards for 2024.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail, relentless work ethic, and high standards—both for herself and those around her—Mo brings a wealth of skills + experience to every production while always finding time to laugh.
